Any American malice will be met with a severe slap from Iran

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Today, Friday, March 21, Imam Khamenei, in his first speech of the new year to the Iranian people, emphasized that the Americans should know that they will never get anywhere with threats in confronting Iran, and said: They and others should know that if they commit any malice against the Iranian nation, they will receive a severe slap.

Expressing another point, he called the interpretation of the resistance centers as Iranian proxy forces by American and European politicians a big mistake and an insult to these groups, and added: What does proxy mean? The Yemeni nation and the resistance centers in the region have an internal motivation to stand against the Zionists, and the Islamic Republic of Iran does not need a deputy, and our opinion and theirs are clear.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution called perseverance and resistance to the evils and oppressions of the Zionist regime a deep-rooted issue in the region, adding: At the beginning of the usurpation of Palestine, one of the countries that was on the front line against oppression was Yemen, whose ruler at that time opposed the usurpation of Palestine by participating in an international community.

Referring to the spread of protests against the crimes of the ruthless Zionist regime against non-Muslim nations and popular and student demonstrations in the United States and European countries, Ayatollah Khamenei said: Western statesmen do not want to see these realities and understand the positions of their nations; therefore, they resort to actions such as cutting the budget of a university whose students have demonstrated in favor of Palestine, which, of course, is also a manifestation of their claims in the field of free flow of information, liberalism, and human rights.

Emphasizing the opposition of nations to the evils of the Zionist regime and resistance against them in every possible way, Imam Khamenei added: The Islamic Republic of Iran also stands firm against these evils and has clearly announced its positions and methods that it supports the Palestinian and Lebanese fighters defending its country.

He once again emphasized in response to the threats of Iran's ill-wishers: We have never initiated confrontation and conflict with this or that, but if anyone starts a conflict with evil, he should know that he will receive severe slaps.

Referring to the constant costs of the right front in fighting the false front and the loss of great Iranian and Lebanese figures in the events of last year, Imam Khamenei called the final outcome of enduring these bitter events and "persevering and seeking help from God" the defeat of the enemies, especially the corrupt, wicked and evil Zionist regime, and emphasized: In the difficult year of 1403, the spiritual strength, patience, courage and bravery of the nation found a brilliant manifestation.

He considered the epic funeral procession of the martyr Raisi, the unique presence in the Friday prayers of Nasr despite the enemy's threats, the motivated presence in the presidential elections, and the meaningful funeral of martyr Haniyeh and other martyred commanders of the Zionist regime's attacks as manifestations of the nation's strength and spiritual spirit, and added: The historic march of Bahman 12 was the culmination of this process, which exposed the Iranian nation's loyalty to the Islamic Revolution and the people's interest in the Islamic Republic to all the arrogant and hypocrites of the world, and introduced the Iranian nation to the world.

 

These statements by the Leader of the Revolution have been widely reflected in regional and international media. Lebanon's Al-Mayadeen network referred to his warning against any foolishness against Iran and wrote: "The Leader of the Revolution emphasized that Iran does not need proxy forces in the region and that the resistance forces act independently."​

Al-Jazeera Qatar also emphasized the Leader of the Revolution's motivation and independence of action of the resistance forces in the region and stated that the Islamic Republic does not need proxy forces.​

 

These statements come at a time when tensions in the region have increased and the Leader of the Revolution's emphasis on a decisive response to any threat demonstrates Iran's serious determination to defend its national interests and support the resistance forces.
