Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Lebanese media announced that the Zionist regime targeted various areas of Lebanese territory with airstrikes on Tuesday evening.
Local sources reported an Israeli airstrike on the outskirts of the town of Shamstar in the west of the city of Baalbek in eastern Lebanon. Meanwhile, Al-Jazeera's correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes also targeted the heights of the Al-Tuffah region in southern Lebanon.
On the other hand, Lebanese sources announced that the Al-Bureij Al-Harshiyya region on the outskirts of the town of Jaba'a in southern Lebanon was also targeted by the Zionist regime on four occasions. A reporter for Al-Manar TV also reported that Israeli warplanes had also bombed the eastern mountain range inside Lebanon.
The Israeli regime announced in a statement that the attacks were aimed at targeting facilities affiliated with Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israel’s Channel 14 claimed that targets in the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon, including Hezbollah’s underground military infrastructure, were targeted in the airstrike.
The Israeli army also confirmed the attack, claiming that it had also bombed a site containing missile launchers in southern Lebanon after identifying Hezbollah forces’ activities.
Despite these claims, official Lebanese sources have not yet provided details about possible casualties or damage in the attacks.
