Israeli military operation in Quneitra; concerns about forced displacement of residents
The Israeli army has launched a large-scale operation in the Syrian province of Quneitra over the past two days and has infiltrated the area with dozens of military vehicles. This action has been accompanied by serious concerns about the forced displacement of residents and the escalation of tension in southern Syria.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The southern regions of Syria have witnessed increased military tension from Israeli forces in the past two days. These tensions include ground infiltration operations and airstrikes in the provinces of Quneitra, Daraa and the southern outskirts of Homs.

According to reports, Israeli army forces have infiltrated the outskirts of Quneitra in southern Syria today (Wednesday) with more than 30 military vehicles, including tanks, bulldozers and armored vehicles. Local sources have reported that simultaneously with this operation, Israeli spy drones were also flying over the area. Israeli forces have also destroyed military bases belonging to Syrian government forces.

On Tuesday evening, a large Israeli military convoy with more than 50 military vehicles entered the village of Adnaniya on the outskirts of Quneitra province. This infiltration operation has been described as the largest infiltration operation since Israel entered the area.

According to Fars, local residents in Quneitra have expressed concern about a repeat of the forced displacement scenario. They believe that Israel’s goal in these measures is to create a military environment and displace residents as part of a policy of demographic cleansing.

In addition to Quneitra, on Tuesday, the border area in the western outskirts of Daraa in southern Syria also witnessed the infiltration of Israeli army forces. Also, Daraa province was targeted by Israeli airstrikes on Monday evening, which resulted in the death of three people and the injury of 19 others.

In response to these developments, Egypt condemned the recent Israeli attacks on Syria, calling it a dangerous violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry has called on the international community and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities in condemning Israel's actions and obliging the regime to end its occupation of Syrian territory.
