Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Herat: The National Gallery of Herat Information and Culture Department was inaugurated on Wednesday in the presence of the Turkish Ambassador to Kabul, the head of TIKA office and a number of teachers of the province.
Ahmadullah Mottaki, the head of information and culture in Herat province, appreciated Turkey's efforts in the cultural sectors, saying the work done by TIKA and Turkish government agencies in the cultural and historical sectors was appreciated.
Turkish Ambassador to Afghanistan Jenk Onal said at the inauguration of the gallery that Turkey has implemented development and reconstruction projects in various provinces of Afghanistan; But in Herat province, the focus has been on restoring historical monuments and cultural projects.
Meanwhile, Arafat Deniz, head of TIKA's office in Herat province, said the agency had completed 15 different projects in western Afghanistan in the past three months.
It is worth mentioning that TIKA has previously implemented various projects in Herat province.
