Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Public Security Directorate of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, in a press release today (Tuesday, 18 March), said to AVA News Agency that during the holy month of Ramadan, a special program for the recitation and interpretation of the Holy Quran was held with the presence of members, Mujahideen and officials at the headquarters of this department and weekly provincial seminaries.
According to the press release, based on the guidance of the Islamic Emirate’s leadership, this ceremony is taught in the center and provinces of the country in weekly Quran interpretation seminars every day by religious scholars.
The Public Security Directorate said that the teaching of the Holy Quran has been launched with the aim of deepening religious beliefs, strengthening spiritual spirit and promoting Islamic ethics among the police forces.
In this gathering, lectures are given daily about the virtues and importance of reciting the Quran during the holy month of Ramadan, and parts of the verses of the Holy Quran are presented along with relevant interpretations and explanations.
The newsletter adds: This program, which will continue daily during the holy month of Ramadan, provides a good opportunity for police officers to benefit from the spiritual blessings of this holy month in addition to performing security duties.
Mullah Abdul Rahim Zaheer, Chief of the Police Public Security Department, emphasized that such programs play an important role in strengthening religious spirit and increasing the moral and professional commitment of the security forces and will continue in the future.
Mr. Zaheer called on the public security forces to spare no effort to ensure security and protect the people, because we are the servants of the Mujahideen nation of our country, and the peace of the people is our priority.
