Tens of thousands protest in Yemen against deadly US attacks
Tens of thousands of demonstrators in Yemen demonstrated against the United States and Israel on Monday, following Saturday's US strikes that killed 53 people and wounded dozens.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Large crowds of people gathered in Al-Sabain Square in Sanaa and other squares in other Yemeni provinces on Monday to show their strong support for their government against the Western states' strikes which comes in support of the Israeli regime, al-Masirah news agency reported.
The rally came at a time when the U.S. and U.K. have launched brutal attacks on Yemen, and the Yemeni armed forces have targeted the U.S. ships in the Red Sea.
The recent aerial attacks by the U.S.-Israeli aggression coalition targeted residential areas in the cities of Sanaa and Saada.
Abdul Malik Al Houthi, leader of Yemen's Ansarullah movement, called on Yemeni on Sunday (March 17, 2025) to maintain their unity and hold rallies amid the U.S. and the U.K. airstrikes.
