Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): KABUL: Pakistan's Foreign Ministry has summoned Sardar Ahmad Shakib, the ambassador of the interim government to Islamabad, and expressed its strong protest against the use of Afghan territory in the attack on the Jafar Express train.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry has summoned the Afghan embassy clerk to express its strong protest over the attackers' contact with their commanders on Afghan soil, Geo News reported.
The Islamic Emirate is committed not to allow Afghanistan's territory to be used against Pakistan, based on its international obligations and the Doha agreement, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said.
Pakistan has been making allegations against Afghanistan in recent months that the Afghan government has dismissed as baseless.
Earlier, Abdul Qahar Balkhi, spokesman for the interim government's foreign ministry, denied Pakistan's accusations and denied statements by a Pakistani army spokesman about Afghanistan's links with the Balochistan Liberation Army and the recent attack on the train.
Balkhi urged Pakistan to focus on solving its security and internal problems instead of making such statements.
