Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to the agreement, in exchange for each Israeli prisoner, the occupying regime released 12 Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment and 111 other prisoners from Gaza who were captured after October 7, 2023.
In total, this phase included the release of 36 Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment and 333 prisoners from Gaza. Estimates indicate that this group will be the largest group of Palestinian prisoners ever released.
Meanwhile, Israeli authorities have once again announced that they will not allow Palestinians to celebrate and hold ceremonies welcoming the prisoners; However, as in the previous five rounds, the Palestinians left no stone unturned to welcome the prisoners despite all the restrictions.
