Google officially changes the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America after Trump
Google changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America for American users in its maps after Trump's order.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: After US President Donald Trump issued an executive order to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico, Google changed the name of the Gulf to the Gulf of America for American users.

According to Al Jazeera, the major American technology and information company based in California stated that the display of the name of the Gulf of Mexico in its programs will depend on the location from which users use them.

Google wrote in a post: Users who use Google Maps in the United States will see the name of the bay in question as the Gulf of America, and users who use this program in Mexico will see the name of the Gulf of Mexico on the map.

Other users outside Mexico and the United States will see both names (Mexico and America) on the map.

According to Fars, Google also announced in a post on the social network X (formerly Twitter) that the name of Mount Denali in Alaska will also be changed to Mount McKinley, according to Trump's order. Trump announced his order to change some of the geographical areas in question with the aim of restoring greatness to America and issued the executive order immediately on January 20. Google's action has drawn critical reactions from some Internet users.
