Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Dr. Seyed Ruhollah Hosseini stated that "Today we are witnessing the fruition of the 46th anniversary of the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and we are celebrating it," adding: This revolution came to fruition in 1357 AH, under the leadership of the great architect of the revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA), and with the unparalleled sacrifices of the Muslim people of Iran, and is now continuing under the wise leadership of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Imam Khamenei.
He continued: Bahman is a reminder of the day when the Iranian nation, with unity, faith, and resistance to oppression and tyranny, was able to overthrow the Pahlavi tyrannical regime and establish military foundations based on Islamic values, independence, and freedom. This day, not only for us, but for all freedom-seekers in the world, is a symbol of the perseverance and victory of the will of nations over oppressive powers.
While highlighting the developments that have occurred after the Islamic Revolution 46 years ago, he stated:
Undoubtedly, the Islamic Revolution of Iran has created profound and fundamental changes in various political, social, cultural and scientific fields. The most important of these achievements include the following:
1- Independence and freedom: After the revolution, the Iranian nation was able to make its decisions without foreign interference and to regulate the country's macro policies based on national and Islamic interests.
2- People's sovereignty over their own destiny: By holding numerous elections, people at all levels of the system have played a fundamental role and have had extensive political participation.
3- Scientific and technological advances: Today, Islamic Iran has achieved great successes in the fields of medicine, nuclear technology, defense industries and aerospace and is among the leading countries.
4- Cultural independence and the spread of Islamic values: The Islamic Revolution was able to revive the original Islamic culture and national identity and resist the cultural invasion of foreigners.
Dr. Hosseini continued by providing an analysis of the surrounding international environment and pointing out the responsibilities towards this precious trust and stated: Although the Islamic Revolution has been victorious, our duty to safeguard it remains. Today, the enemies of the revolution are trying to distance the Iranian nation from their ideals through various conspiracies, economic, cultural and media wars. We must stand against these challenges with insight, vigilance and national unity.
Addressing the Iranian youth, he stated: Just as the previous generation led this revolution to victory with sacrifice and dedication, today these youth have the duty to pave the way for the country’s progress with knowledge, faith and effort and raise the flag of this revolution to the heights of honor and glory.
In conclusion, the Iranian cultural advisor in Kabul, while referring to the Supreme Leader's remarks in a meeting with Hamas leaders, pointed to the bright and promising future of the revolution and added: "The Leader of the Revolution announced in a meeting with the leaders of the Hebrew Hamas that the resistance in Gaza and Lebanon won, and Israel and America were defeated, and this is the inevitable result of such a view. Hamas leaders also announced that at the same time, the victory in Gaza over Israel and America is a promise of other victories until the liberation of Jerusalem."
