Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Lebanese Presidency announced in a statement that the country's president signed a decree to form a new government with the presence of 24 ministers in the cabinet.
According to ISNA, the new Lebanese government will be formed with 24 ministers in the cabinet and the national movement will not be present in this government.
In this regard, on Saturday, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun accepted the resignation of the government of "Najib Mikati", Prime Minister of the Lebanese Government.
He signed a decree to form a new government with "Nawaf Salam" as Prime Minister and the formation of a cabinet with the presence of 24 ministers.
Mahmoud Makia, the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Government, also announced that the Mikati government has resigned based on a presidential decree and that Nawaf Salam is now the Prime Minister.
He pointed out that Yassin Jaber, Minister of Finance, Youssef Raji, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ahmed Al-Hajjar, Minister of Interior, are the new Lebanese government.
Meanwhile, Nawaf Salam said after forming the cabinet and announcing the names of the ministers: Political disputes have no place in the new government
After forming the new Lebanese cabinet, Nawaf Salam considered reforms to be the only way to save the country and emphasized: We will advance financial and economic reforms and create an independent judiciary.
The Lebanese Prime Minister once again emphasized that in the new government there will be no place for political disputes and fights, but rather a place for work and construction.
Regarding the reconstruction of the ruins of the Lebanese war, he also said: Reconstruction in the south is not a promise, but a commitment from us.
Nawaf Salam also emphasized cooperation with President Joseph Aoun to build a new Lebanon.
