US threats have no effect on the mentality of our nation and officials

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: The Chairman and members of the Hamas Leadership Council met with His Holiness Ayatollah Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, this morning.

 

In this meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei also honored the memory of the martyrs of Gaza and the martyred commanders, especially the martyr Ismail Haniyeh, and addressed the Hamas leaders, saying: God Almighty granted you and the people of Gaza honor and victory, and made Gaza an example of the noble verse that says: "Perhaps a small group, by God's grace and permission, can overcome a large and powerful group."

 

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized: You defeated the Zionist regime, and in fact, America, and by God's grace, you did not let them achieve any of their goals.

 

Referring to the suffering that the people of Gaza endured during the year and a half of resistance, Ayatollah Khamenei noted: The result of all this suffering and expense was ultimately the victory of truth over falsehood, and the people of Gaza became a role model for all those who are committed to resistance.

 

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, while appreciating the Hamas negotiators, called the achievement of the agreement great and said: Today, the duty of the entire Islamic world and all supporters of the resistance is to help the people of Gaza to reduce their suffering and pain.

 

Imam Khamenei called it necessary to plan for cultural work and continue the current path of propaganda work alongside military affairs and the reconstruction of Gaza, and added: The resistance forces and Hamas performed very well in propaganda and media work, and this method must continue.

 

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution considered faith to be the main factor and asymmetric weapon of the resistance front against the enemy, and said: It is because of this faith that the Islamic Republic and the resistance front do not feel weak against the enemies.

 

Referring to the recent threats by the United States against the Islamic Republic and the people of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized: Such threats have no effect on the mentality of our nation and officials, as well as the country's activists and youth.

 

He noted: The issue of defending Palestine and supporting the Palestinian people is also beyond question in the minds of the Iranian people, and an issue has been resolved.

 

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said: The Palestinian issue is a major issue for us and the victory of Palestine is also a definite issue for us.

 

Emphasizing that ultimately the final victory will be with the Palestinian people, Ayatollah Khamenei noted: Incidents and ups and downs should not cause doubt, but one should move forward with the power of faith and hope and hope for divine assistance.

 

In conclusion, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution addressed the Hamas leaders and said: By the grace of God, the day will come when all of you will have resolved the issue of Jerusalem for the Islamic world with complete pride, and that day will definitely happen.

 

According to ISNA, in this meeting, Mr. "Mohammed Ismail Darwish", Chairman of the Hamas Leadership Council, "Khalil Lahiya", Deputy Head of the Hamas Political Bureau, and "Zahir Jabarin", Head of Hamas in the West Bank, while honoring the martyred leaders of the resistance, especially the martyrs "Ismail Haniyeh", "Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah", "Yahya Sinwar" and "Saleh Al-Arouri", presented a report on the latest situation in Gaza and the West Bank, the victories and successes achieved and the current situation, and expressed appreciation for the constant support of the Islamic Republic and the people of Iran.

 

Also, at the beginning of this meeting, "Mohammed Ismail Darwish", Chairman of the Hamas Leadership Council, congratulated the great victory of the resistance in Gaza and said to the Leader of the Revolution: We consider the coincidence of the days of the victory of the Gaza resistance with the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution as a good omen and we hope that this coincidence will pave the way for the liberation of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

 

Khalil Lahiya, Deputy Head of the Hamas Political Bureau, also congratulated the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the victory of the Gaza resistance at the beginning of the meeting and said: "We have come to meet with Your Excellency today while we are all proud, and this great victory is a joint victory for us and the Islamic Republic."
