Opening of the National and International Exhibition "Balkh Province" in Mazar-e-Sharif
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: Maulvi Noorul Hadi Abu Adris, Deputy Governor of Balkh Province, said at the opening ceremony of the exhibition that holding this exhibition is a fundamental step towards economic growth and introducing domestic products of the country, and the officials of the Islamic Emirate government have always tried to provide the basis for expanding investment as a supporter of industry and businessmen.
He emphasized that I request national businessmen abroad to come to their homeland because good conditions have been provided.
On the other hand, Imamuddin Sanayeezada, head of the Balkh Chamber of Industries and Mines, said: The country is progressing at the same time as the Islamic Emirate government came to power, and we are increasing the establishment and activity of manufacturing factories every day.
He added: “The country’s industry is nascent, so it is necessary to consider a permanent location in Mazar-e-Sharif for exhibitions.”
Meanwhile, Asadullah Asadi, head of the provincial Chamber of Commerce and Investment, acknowledged that the incentive for economic growth and the use of domestic goods should be universal and institutionalized because it is painful for us to be an import-based country.
Similarly, Nasir Ahmadi Niazi, deputy minister of industry and commerce of Balkh province, stated that holding exhibitions is of economic and developmental importance in the country and leads to marketing for domestically produced brands or goods. According to him, holding exhibitions is a tool for the growth of domestic products so that domestic products can compete with foreign products.
He said: Establishing export centers in the country’s zones, activating air corridors for trade, establishing and developing industrial parks and other measures are part of the achievements of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
Niazi called on domestic and immigrant businessmen to invest in the country and take advantage of the opportunities that have arisen because overall security has been ensured and ethnic prejudices have been eliminated.
The mentioned person added that the officials of the Islamic Emirate government should oblige all civil and military departments to use domestic products.
On the other hand, Mohammad Hashem Wahaj, head of the Kapisa Bastan Exhibition Services Company and organizer of the exhibition, said: In this exhibition, the products of 150 domestic companies are displayed in 150 booths and will continue for three days.
A number of exhibitors of the exhibition also expressed their satisfaction and added that holding such exhibitions is useful in the field of marketing domestic products and we want to continue such programs.
It is worth mentioning that officials of the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mazar-e-Sharif were also present at the opening of this three-day exhibition.
