The Iranian Chamber of Industry, Mine and Commerce reported that the country exported $249 million in non-oil goods to Afghanistan in one month (September 22 to October 22), and Afghanistan was the fifth largest importer of non-oil goods from Iran.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Tehran Times reported, citing statistics from the Iranian Chamber of Industry, Mine and Commerce, that Iran exported $249 million in non-oil goods to Afghanistan in one month (September 22 to October 22).
It was said that Afghanistan was the fifth largest importer of non-oil goods from Iran.
Previously, the former head of the Customs Administration had announced that Iran had exported non-oil goods worth $1.3 billion to Afghanistan in the first seven months of this solar year, and based on this statistics, Afghanistan is the fifth largest importer of goods from Iran.
Non-oil goods imported from Iran to Afghanistan include flour, oil, eggs, chicken meat, medicine, medical supplies and construction materials.
It is worth noting that economic relations between the two countries have increased in the past three years.
