Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced that more than 578,600 people, or about 65 percent of the refugees inside Lebanon whose names were registered between October 8, 2023 and November 25, 2024, have begun returning to their homes. 51 percent of this population are women and 49 percent are men.
The Israeli regime has been targeting Lebanon with airstrikes for weeks and, on the other hand, has also begun its ground invasion of the country. Finally, after days of victorious resistance, Lebanon signed a ceasefire agreement with the Israeli regime on November 26.
Under the two-month ceasefire agreement, civilians will be able to return to their homes. The Lebanese began returning to their homes just hours after the ceasefire was officially announced. Despite the ceasefire, the Zionist regime has violated the agreement several times and targeted some areas of Lebanon. It is worth noting that more than 3,000 Lebanese people have been martyred during Israel's attacks in the past year.
