As the war enters its 423rd day, the occupiers are moving to defeat any movement to stop the genocide in Gaza, which has left more than 140,000 martyrs and wounded and 10,000 missing among the Palestinians, and has caused severe destruction and starvation, killing dozens of children and the elderly. Based on the generals' plan, the Zionist regime is seeking to create a buffer zone in northern Gaza and ethnically cleanse the Palestinians from this area. For this reason, northern Gaza has now become the center of Zionist brutality.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Accordingly, in the bombing of residential areas in the Beit Lahia refugee camp in northern Gaza, at least 10 civilians were martyred and a number of others were injured. The intensity of the Zionist brutality in this area is such that there is a possibility that the number of victims will increase.

Other areas of the Strip, including the Nussirat refugee camp, Khan Yunis, and southern Gaza, including Rafah, have also been targeted by the Israeli regime’s air and artillery attacks.

Hossam Abu Safia, head of Kamal Adwan Hospital, announced that the humanitarian situation in northern Gaza has reached the brink of a complete catastrophe as a result of successive Israeli attacks, with 200 Palestinians killed in the past 48 hours and their bodies buried under rubble.

An Egyptian source familiar with the matter told Al Arabi Al-Jadeed about the ceasefire efforts in Gaza and the meeting between Hamas and Egyptian officials in Cairo, attended by the country’s intelligence chief, Hassan Rashad, in which the latest ceasefire proposals were reviewed.

Earlier, Jihad Taha, the official spokesman for the Hamas movement, said in an interview with Al Arabi Al-Jadeed on Saturday that the Hamas delegation’s visit to Cairo is in line with the mediators’ efforts to end the aggression against the people of the Gaza Strip.

He said that the Hamas movement welcomed the proposals to stop the war and withdraw the Zionist military and resolve all issues arising from the continuous aggression on the Gaza Strip, as well as to stop the continuous crime and genocidal war against the people.

Meanwhile, the World Union of Muslim Scholars called for serious mobilization by the Islamic Ummah to stop the war in Gaza.

On the other hand, Palestinian sources reported that the Zionist regime's artillery attack on two streets in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.

At the same time, Palestinian sources pointed to the bombing of a house in Gaza City by the Zionist regime.

Since the beginning of the aggressive attacks on the Gaza Strip, the Zionist regime has not hesitated to commit any crime and targets children, women, medical personnel and journalists without regard to international law.

Tel Aviv continues to commit genocide against the residents of the Gaza Strip, defying the international community and ignoring the UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate end to the war and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. Despite all these crimes, the Zionist regime has admitted that after more than a year of war, it has still not achieved its goals in this war, namely the destruction of the Hamas movement and the return of Zionist prisoners from the Gaza Strip.
