The current policy of the Afghan government is not based on creating tension inside Pakistan / Pakistan is giving the world the wrong address
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Following the statements of the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the participation of Afghan citizens in recent demonstrations in that country, the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad also issued a statement saying that the country's refugees have never been involved in political activities or criminal events in Pakistan. The embassy also said that the statements of Pakistani officials have caused considerable concern among the refugees, who are worried that they will once again be subjected to unjustified harassment and mistreatment by the Pakistani police.
This is while international relations experts are also expressing concern about Pakistan's continued accusations against the Islamic Emirate, as well as the government's mistreatment of refugees under various pretexts.
Dr. Mohammad Akram Arefi, a university professor and international relations expert, said in an interview with AVA: The tensions that have arisen between Afghanistan and Pakistan over the past two years, and Pakistan has always accused Afghanistan of interfering, go back to the country's policy towards Afghanistan adopted two years ago.
According to him, Pakistan's baseless statements and increasing accusations came at a time when the country had high expectations from the Islamic Emirate. Pakistan wanted the new Afghan government to use its influence and power to contain the TTP inside Pakistan, but this expectation was not met, and Afghan officials said that Pakistan should solve its internal problems itself.
According to Dr. Arifi, contrary to Pakistan's expectations and what actually happened was quite the opposite. With the coming to power of the Islamic Emirate, not only was the TTP not contained, but it gained more power and spirit and practically started drawing a geographical map that indicated the establishment of an independent state within Pakistan, which caused serious concern for the federal government of Pakistan.
According to the analysis of this international affairs expert, since then, all the efforts and political talks that Pakistan had with the Afghan government have been aimed at cooperating to suppress and completely control the TTP, but these efforts have not been successful, which has led to a kind of pessimism among Pakistani officials and they think that the Afghan government is behind the activities of this group, while this is not clear and Afghanistan has always denied this.
According to him, one thing is very clear, and that is that there is a close social, cultural and people-to-people relationship between the people of Afghanistan and the tribal areas, especially the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, separate from government politics, and the people on both sides of the Durand Line have a very deep ethnic, friendly and commercial connection that can never be separated.
The university professor added that in the past, when there was a problem in Afghanistan, people on the other side of the Durand Line would come to this side to help their fellow speakers. Today, there is a possibility that if a problem arises and help is requested, these people will definitely make their own decision, separate from government politics, and this is due to the depth of friendship and social connection, not political and military.
According to his statements, what is relevant to the intention of the Afghan government, contrary to the claims of Pakistani officials, is good neighborliness in all circumstances, and it is very difficult to say that the current policy of the Afghan government is to create tension inside Pakistan and to support the TTP or any other group such as the Pashtun Preservation Movement or the interference of refugees in the political affairs of this country. According to Dr. Arefi, in fact, the fundamental problem here is that Pakistan links the popular and social activities of both sides of the line to official government support, and this is the main point of disagreement. For this reason, the Pakistani government is putting pressure on the Afghan government and on the other hand, imposing strict measures on the refugees so that, in its opinion, the Afghan government can force the people to stop cooperating with the Pashtuns inside Pakistan.
Pakistan is giving the world the wrong direction in fighting terrorism
On the other hand, Aziz Maarij, a political expert, said in an interview with AVA: Pakistan has always wanted instability and a weak and puppet government in Afghanistan, and any government that is established in Pakistan has only one policy, and that is the weakness and impotence of Afghanistan, because if an independent and strong government is established in Afghanistan, Pakistan will be afraid and restless.
In his opinion, Pakistan is supporting terrorist groups in the region and wants to blame Afghanistan for this and give the world the wrong direction in fighting terrorism.
On the other hand, according to him, Pakistan is showing itself to be a victim of terrorism in order to attract the world's attention and gain more privileges and money.
According to this expert, the recent political issues, unrest, and unrest in Pakistan have also occurred due to the oppression and oppression by the Pakistani authorities against the Pashtuns and Baloch, and the people are forced to rise up against the oppression, but they still accuse the immigrants of interfering in the country's internal rallies and politics.
It is worth noting that Pakistan has always accused Afghanistan of being involved in the unrest and internal security incidents in the country, a claim that has always been denied by the Afghan authorities. The Islamic Emirate has repeatedly announced that it is ready to mediate between various Pakistani groups and the government of this country to ensure peace and stability, but the Pakistani government has opposed these proposals.
