Speaking about the possibility of reaching a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: We are witnessing a significant improvement in conditions for the safe release of Zionist prisoners in Hamas detention and the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza.
Afghan Voice Agency (AWA): According to Al Jazeera, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke on Thursday about the possibility of reaching a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Accordingly, Netanyahu announced: We are witnessing a significant improvement in conditions for the safe release of Zionist prisoners in Hamas detention and the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza.
He was being interviewed by the Israeli Channel 14, and in response to the question of how possible it is to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, he said: I believe that the conditions have changed a lot and have now improved.
Netanyahu's comments come after US President Joe Biden announced renewed efforts after past failures to reach a ceasefire before leaving the White House on January 20. Qatar, Egypt, Turkey and the US are among the mediators of the potential peace deal.
