Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Reuters reported, citing two US officials, that the US government is preparing a new $725 million military aid package for Ukraine.
A US government official said that the package is expected to include a variety of anti-tank weapons from US stocks, including land mines, drones, Stinger missiles and ammunition for HIMARS, as well as cluster munitions for multiple launch rocket systems.
Meanwhile, German Galushchenko; Ukraine's energy minister announced that in the early hours of Thursday, energy sector facilities in Ukraine were targeted by widespread attacks, and a number of Russian missiles fired at Kharkiv, Odessa and eight other regions were intercepted.
"The energy sector has once again come under widespread enemy attack, attacks on energy facilities are underway across Ukraine," the Ukrainian energy minister wrote on his Facebook page.
He added that following the attacks, the national electricity operator quickly implemented an emergency power outage.
