Nooruddin Azizi, the Minister of Industry and Trade, during his visit to Turkey and at the opening ceremony of the "Halal Istanbul" exhibition, has invited Turkish officials and the country's private sector to hold an exhibition of its products in Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: According to a press release from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Nooruddin Azizi, the acting head of the ministry, in the opening program of the 2024 International Halal Istanbul Exhibition, considered this exhibition the largest trade program in the Islamic world and invited a high-ranking government and private sector delegation from Turkey to hold an exhibition of its domestic products and productions in Afghanistan.
The press release states that the acting head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade also spoke about the opportunities available in Afghanistan and invited the participants to invest in various sectors and visit the country's tourist sites and historical assets.
Mr. Azizi explained the purpose of the Afghan delegation's participation in this program; Creating new opportunities for economic and trade cooperation between Afghanistan, Turkey and regional countries, introducing Afghan products and production to global markets, and attracting foreign investments, especially Turkey, has been stated. It is worth noting that the Istanbul 2024 International Halal Exhibition was held in Istanbul for 4 days with the participation of 45 countries.
