In a speech, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament referred to the cessation of the Zionist regime's aggression and the establishment of a ceasefire, and considered it the result of the Lebanese people's resistance and sacrifice. He also emphasized: We have neutralized the Israeli regime's aggression plans and are starting a new stage.

Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, in her remarks today on the occasion of the establishment of a ceasefire in the country, paid tribute to the soul of the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the martyr of the Muslim Ummah, and said that the Lebanese nation succeeded in eliminating the effects of the Zionist regime's aggression so that today we enter a new stage.
He noted: We have neutralized the Israeli regime's aggression plans and are starting a new stage.
The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament said: We have sacrificed more than four thousand martyrs in the defense of our land.
He expressed his gratitude to all Lebanese who welcomed the refugees in their regions with open arms and expressed solidarity with them, saying: "Our country desperately needs this solidarity."
Nabih Berri added: "This was the most dangerous stage for Lebanon, because the enemy threatened all its elements and spectrums, and the real moment of Lebanese unity was approaching."
He said: "The very valuable blood that was shed on the ground protects Lebanon and it is able to emerge from this stage with greater stability, deterrence, and unity."
Nabih Berri added: "We invite all our displaced compatriots who stood firm to return to their regions, which are the trust of the martyrs."
He praised the bravery and sacrifices of the resistance fighters against the Zionist regime who did not allow the land of Lebanon to become a haven for Zionist massacres, and said: "We are leaving behind a historical moment that was the most dangerous for Lebanon, which threatened its people and history."
He called for the acceleration of the presidential election process, stating that these are testing moments for all Lebanese across different sects to save the country and protect its legal institutions.
