The Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson welcomed the news of the cessation of the Zionist regime's aggression against Lebanon and emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran's firm support for the Lebanese government, nation and resistance.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Referring to the Islamic Republic of Iran's permanent position on the need for an immediate cessation of the war against Gaza and Lebanon and the extensive diplomatic movements to achieve this goal in the past 14 months, Ismail Baqaei, the spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, noted that the result of the Zionist regime's war-mongering and crimes, which has been accompanied by the full support of the United States and some European governments, has been the martyrdom of 60,000 innocent people, the injury of 120,000 people, the displacement of more than three and a half million oppressed people of Palestine and Lebanon, and the widespread destruction of vital infrastructure in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman added: "Given the interim orders issued by the International Court of Justice to prevent genocide and the arrest warrant for the leaders of the Zionist regime by the International Criminal Court on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity, the world's public opinion, which has been calling for an end to war and genocide for the past 14 months, is today awaiting the trial and punishment of the criminals of the occupation regime."

Baqaei also emphasized the responsibility of the international community to protect peace and stability in the West Asian region and to exert effective pressure on the aggressor Zionist regime to stop the war on Gaza.

News sources reported the official implementation of the ceasefire in Lebanon at 5:30 AM and 4:00 AM Beirut time.

Al Jazeera Qatar announced that the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon has been implemented at this time (04:00 AM Beirut time).

Daniel Hagari, spokesman for the Israeli army, announced that with the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli army is still stationed in its positions in southern Lebanon.
