Official implementation of the ceasefire in Lebanon after a long period of crimes by the Zionist regime + agreement clauses
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Al Jazeera Qatar announced that the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon has been implemented at this time (04:00 am Beirut time).
According to Iran Press, Daniel Hagari, spokesman for the Israeli army, announced that with the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli army will remain in its positions in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli Radio and Television Network also reported that the regime's army has asked residents of southern Lebanon not to move towards the evacuated villages.
The Zionist media claimed that the Israeli army announced that it would inform the residents of southern Lebanon of a safe time to return to their homes.
Meanwhile, Amos Hochstein, the US special representative for the Lebanon ceasefire negotiations, said: It must be emphasized that the ceasefire is a permanent ceasefire that ends all hostile actions. We do not want a repeat of what happened in 2006, after the end of the war. The agreement must be fully implemented.
He expressed hope that with this agreement, all the violence that the region has witnessed in the past few decades will end.
The US representative noted: American forces will not be stationed in Lebanon in any way, but we will provide assistance to the Lebanese army.
This is while the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday night that the number of martyrs in the country as a result of the Zionist regime's aggression has reached 3,823 people. Also, 15,859 people were injured as a result of the Zionist regime's aggression against Lebanon during this period.
The Zionist attacks in various parts of the country in the last 24 hours left 55 dead and 160 injured.
But moments before the ceasefire began, the southern suburbs of Beirut were heavily bombed by Israeli warplanes. The Lebanese Ministry of Health also announced that 12 people have been killed and 14 others injured in the Israeli regime's airstrikes on various parts of Lebanon this morning, Wednesday.
However, in return, the Lebanese Hezbollah also targeted some areas in northern occupied Palestine last night and this morning. In the meantime, a central bus station was destroyed as a result of the missiles of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance in Kiryat Shmona.
In other news, the Islamic Resistance Operations Room announced that one of the sensitive military targets in the city of Tel Aviv was attacked on November 18, 2024. The attack targeted the residence of General Tomar Bar, commander of the Israeli Air Force. The operation was carried out using a group of special attack drones and the targets were hit with precision.
According to Hezbollah, the Israeli military censor has imposed severe restrictions on the incident.
This comes as the deputy head of Hezbollah's political council expressed doubts on Tuesday night about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's commitment to a possible ceasefire agreement in Lebanon.
But what are the clauses of this ceasefire?
Al Jazeera, citing the Zionist website "Hadshot Israel", has published the clauses of the agreement between Lebanon and the Zionist regime;
According to this Zionist source, the clauses of the ceasefire are as follows:
- Israel will not carry out any offensive military operations against various targets in Lebanon, whether on land, in the air or at sea.
- Hezbollah and all other armed groups in Lebanese territory will not carry out any offensive actions against Israel.
- Israel and Lebanon will be committed to the importance of UN Resolution 1701.
- These commitments do not violate the right of Israel or Lebanon to pursue their inherent right to self-defense.
- The official security and military forces in Lebanon will be the only armed groups allowed to carry weapons and use force in southern Lebanon.
- Any purchase, import or production of weapons or weapons-related materials in Lebanon must be carried out under the supervision of the Lebanese government, and all unauthorized facilities that attempt to produce weapons and weapons-related materials must be dismantled. All military infrastructure and positions that do not comply with these commitments must be dismantled, and all unauthorized weapons in this regard must be confiscated.
- A committee acceptable to the Israeli and Lebanese parties must be established to monitor and help ensure the implementation of these commitments.
- Israel and Lebanon will inform this committee and UNIFIL of any possible violations of the commitments.
- Lebanon will deploy its official security forces and its military forces along the borders and crossings and along the line that marks the southern border and is included in the force deployment map.
- Israel will gradually withdraw its forces south of the Blue Line over a period of 60 days.
- The United States is responsible for continuing indirect negotiations between Israel and Lebanon to reach mutually agreed borders.
While media sources close to Hezbollah or Lebanese political figures have not yet denied or confirmed these clauses, the Zionist media outlet went on to list the weaknesses of this agreement for the Zionist regime and wrote that, according to informed officials, the Zionist side in the agreement did not enjoy these advantages:
- No neutral zone will be created at the border point so that Lebanese elements are outside the line of conflict.
- There is no explicit reference to Israel's right to attack Lebanon if the agreement is violated.
- The agreement does not mention any harm to Hezbollah's economic projects.
- The parties implementing the agreement in southern Lebanon are the Lebanese army and UNIFIL forces.
