The Ministry of Industry and Commerce says that a number of industrialists of the country, in a meeting with the deputy minister of the ministry, demanded more government support for industrial factories.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce issued a press release saying that Maulvi Ahmadullah Zahid, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce Affairs of the ministry, met with Sakhi Ahmad Peyman, Deputy Minister of Afghanistan Chamber of Industries and Mines, Hamdullah Khadem, Head of the Chamber of Industries and Mines of Herat Province, and a number of industrialists of the country.
In this meeting, industrialists discussed the problems and challenges facing their industrial activities with the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce and demanded more support for industrial factories.
Welcoming their presence, Mawlawi Ahmadullah Zahid, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, listened to the problems and challenges of the country's industrialists, emphasizing that we in this ministry are at the service of the country's private sector and stated that after the signing and publication of the Industrial Zones Law in the Official Gazette, activities and work on the Industrial Zones Procedure are underway.
The Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce added that we are working to address the problems related to trademark registration and to bring more conveniences in this sector.
Mr. Mawlawi Zahid also stated clearly that the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, as the representative of the private sector in the Tariff Committee, has and will fully support your activities and needs.
