He added: The situation in Gaza is worse than in Lebanon and 250,000 people are suffering in northern Gaza alone. Humanitarian aid is not reaching Gaza and the UN is unable to provide support. Hunger is being used as a weapon against the people who are left alone in northern Gaza.

Borrell continued: "Why don't we go to the Security Council to raise the issue of humanitarian aid to Gaza?"

Regarding the arrest warrant for Netanyahu, the EU foreign policy chief also said: "European countries will abide by their obligations to the International Criminal Court and the court's decision against Netanyahu and Gallant must be implemented.
