Arrest warrant for Netanyahu and Gallant must be executed/ European countries will abide by their obligations to the International Criminal Court
The European Union's foreign policy chief said in a statement: European countries will abide by their obligations to the International Criminal Court and the court's decision against Netanyahu and Gallant must be executed. He also stated that the International Criminal Court cannot be accepted when it is against Putin and opposed when it is against Netanyahu.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Josep Borrell, the European Union's foreign policy chief, said in a statement regarding the ceasefire negotiations in Lebanon: There is no justification for the lack of a ceasefire in Lebanon and Israel's concerns have been completely addressed. 100,000 houses were destroyed in Lebanon and pressure must be put on Israel to accept the ceasefire proposal.
He added: The situation in Gaza is worse than in Lebanon and 250,000 people are suffering in northern Gaza alone. Humanitarian aid is not reaching Gaza and the UN is unable to provide support. Hunger is being used as a weapon against the people who are left alone in northern Gaza.
Borrell continued: "Why don't we go to the Security Council to raise the issue of humanitarian aid to Gaza?"
Regarding the arrest warrant for Netanyahu, the EU foreign policy chief also said: "European countries will abide by their obligations to the International Criminal Court and the court's decision against Netanyahu and Gallant must be implemented. You cannot accept the International Criminal Court when it is against Putin and oppose it when it is against Netanyahu."
