Proper use of natural resources improves the country's economic and agricultural situation
The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock says that the first international conference on the "Green Revolution of Self-sufficiency of Afghanistan" has been held in Kandahar with the participation of experts from 10 countries. At this conference, the acting Minister of Agriculture called the proper use of natural resources a step to improve the country's economic and agricultural situation.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock issued a press release saying that the first international conference entitled "Green Revolution of Self-sufficiency of Afghanistan" has been launched by Kabul University at Anastavi University in Kandahar Province.
According to the press release, experts, politicians and industrialists from Canada, Nigeria, Thailand, India, Pakistan, Qatar, Bangladesh, Egypt, Turkey and Iran are present at this conference and will present their scientific articles and solutions on the development of the agricultural sector and the existing solutions to the problems of this sector.
In addition, officials from Kandahar province, members of the Islamic Emirate cabinet, and domestic experts are also participating in the conference.
The Ministry of Agriculture has not said anything about the end time of this international conference.
Maulvi Attaullah Omari, Acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, delivered a speech at the conference and stated that by properly utilizing natural resources and improving scientific methods in the agricultural sector, the country’s economic and agricultural situation will be strengthened.
He said that the articles presented by university professors and experts at this conference, especially in the field of agriculture, will be implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture to develop the country’s agriculture and move towards self-sufficiency.
This conference is an important opportunity for the exchange of views between domestic and international experts, and it is expected that effective solutions will be presented for the development of Afghan agriculture.
