Hundreds of residents of German cities gathered in Berlin yesterday (Saturday) in support of the Palestinians and condemned the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Hundreds of residents of German cities gathered in "Leopold" field in the "Weding" district of Berlin yesterday (Saturday) in support of the Palestinians and condemned the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza.
According to the Anatolia Turkish news agency, the protestors held Palestinian and Lebanese flags and chanted slogans against the German government, criticized the crimes committed by the Zionist regime, and accused Israel of sending weapons.
Demonstrators carried banners and cloths with messages such as "Freedom for Palestine", "Stop the genocide in Gaza", "The embargo (of Israeli goods) is working", "A genocide, genocide". It does not justify others", "Germany, stop the appeasement regime of fascist Netanyahu" and "Genocide with bombs and war crimes, Israel is being slaughtered".
Some of the demonstrators were carrying bread and flour labels to draw attention to the famine that the people of Gaza are facing.
Reports indicate that if the police had increased the security measures, at least four of the protesters were arrested.
Demonstrations are held in Germany in support of the Palestinians in a situation where the German government has repeatedly emphasized its firm support for the Zionist regime and will continue to support this regime.
