Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Yesterday (Wednesday), Ukraine fired British, French, and Storm Shadow missiles at targets inside Russia for the first time.

An anonymous official confirmed the launch of these western missiles on Russian soil in an interview with Reuters. British media also reported the use of this cruise missile, citing sources.

In response to a question about Kiev's use of these missiles against Russia, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rostam Umerov said that "we use all means to defend our country, so I will not go into details."

A Russian military blogger also published pictures on Telegram of the components of this missile on Wednesday and claimed that 12 Shadow Storm missiles were fired at the Kursk region of Russia.

According to him, these images belong to the village of Marino, about 35 miles from the Ukrainian border, and its name is engraved on the missile components. A weapons expert confirmed that the pieces belonged to Storm Shadow cruise missiles.

England and France had previously provided these longer-range missiles to Ukraine for use within their borders, but firing them into Russian territory is a new development that occurred after the United States, England and France gave Kiev permission to fire long-range weapons into Russian territory. is

On Tuesday, the American CNN network reported, citing Russian media, that Ukraine fired American ATACMS missiles into the Russian region of Bryansk after receiving permission from the Biden government.
