Authorization of Ukraine to use American long-range missiles to attack military targets in Russia/ A major step towards starting World War III
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International: The French newspaper Le Figaro previously wrote in a report: Following the authorization of Ukraine to use American long-range weapons to attack military targets deep in Russian territory by US President Joe Biden, Paris and London also issued Kiev with permission to use long-range weapons donated by France and England.
The Figaro newspaper reported, without giving further details, that while Paris and London had previously supported Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s request to use long-range weapons donated by France and Britain, they had refused to authorize Ukraine to use Scalp and Storm Shadow missiles for such attacks until Biden had agreed to Kyiv’s use of ATACMS long-range tactical missiles to attack military targets in Russia.
Three sources, who asked not to be named, also said on Sunday night that Biden, in a significant policy shift regarding the conflict between Moscow and Kiev, had lifted restrictions that had prevented Ukraine from using long-range weapons provided by the United States to strike deep into Russian territory.
The sources also reported that Ukraine intended to use American long-range weapons in its first strike deep into Russian territory in the coming days.
Volodymyr Zelensky; The Ukrainian president has repeatedly called for the lifting of restrictions on the use of Western long-range weapons to attack airports, missile launchers and ammunition depots, fuel depots and important command and control centers in Russia.
Also, Andriy Sibiha, Ukrainian Foreign Minister, said on Wednesday at a joint press conference with Antony Blinken and David Lammy, US and British foreign ministers in Kyiv: It is important that any restrictions on the use of American and British weapons against legitimate Russian military targets be lifted.
On February 21, 2022, the Russian president, criticizing the West's indifference to Moscow's security concerns, recognized the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics in the Donbass region.
Three days later, on Thursday, February 24 (5 Hut 1400), Vladimir Putin launched a military operation against Ukraine, which he called a "special operation," thus turning tense Moscow-Kyiv relations into a military confrontation.
In response to this Russian action, the United States and Western countries have already imposed extensive sanctions against Moscow and sent billions of dollars in weapons and military equipment to Kiev.
