After meeting with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran said: Disputes can be resolved through cooperation and dialogue. We agreed to proceed with strong will and goodwill.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): During his trip to Tehran, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, met and consulted with Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This meeting was held this morning (Thursday, Nov 14) at the Center for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran wrote in X after meeting with Rafael Grossi: This morning, we had important and frank discussions with Mr. Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
He continued: As a committed member of the NPT, we continue to cooperate fully with the Agency. Disputes can be resolved through cooperation and dialogue. We agreed to proceed with strong will and goodwill.
Araghchi continued: Iran has never left the negotiating table regarding its peaceful nuclear program.
He emphasized: Now it is the turn of the European Union and three European countries. We are ready to negotiate based on our national interests and undeniable rights, but we are not willing to negotiate under pressure and intimidation.
