The Ministry of Public Works has announced the participation of a delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Railways of the Ministry in the 81st meeting of the Rail Transport Council of the Commonwealth of Nations in Uzbekistan and says that in this meeting there was also a discussion about attracting international cooperation in the affairs of Afghanistan's railways.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Public Works has announced the participation of a delegation headed by Maulvi Mohammad Ishaq Sahibzadeh, Deputy Minister of Railways of this Ministry, in the 81st meeting of the Rail Transport Council of the Commonwealth of Nations in Uzbekistan.
According to this ministry, in this meeting, there was a discussion about attracting international cooperation in the affairs of Afghanistan's railways and the fundamental development of railways and technology.
It is also stated in the newsletter that the presence of Afghanistan as an observer member in this council is intended.
It is said that on the sidelines of this meeting, the Minister of Railways of Afghanistan talked with the railway officials of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan about the implementation of joint projects of the railway line and the sending of commercial goods through railway lines with the aim of increasing the volume of cargo.
