The arrest of an election worker in Georgia, USA, on the charge of making a bomb threat
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: An election worker in the state of Georgia was arrested on the charge of making a bomb threat against other election workers.
US federal prosecutors announced that 25-year-old Nicholas Wimbish sent the bomb threat letter to election workers. He was working as an election worker in Gray County, Georgia until October 16 when he got into a verbal altercation with a voter.
Prosecutors added: The next day, Nicholas wrote a letter to the district's election supervisor in a way that appeared to be from the same voter. The letter accused Nicholas of being a liberal election fraudster who interfered with the voting process.
According to statistics, the total population of America is 340 million people, of which 160 million Americans are eligible to vote in America. 66% of people participated in the previous term of the American presidency.
According to CNN, voting is underway in the states of Connecticut, Indiana, Kentucky, New Hampshire, Maine, New Jersey, New York and Virginia.
Earlier today, election voting in Dixville Notch, a small county in the state of New Hampshire with a small population, was announced as the first place to start voting in the US election. Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are candidates for the presidency of the United States.
The close race between Trump and Harris is expected to be limited to a few key states: Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin and Nevada.
