Seyed Kamal Kharazi, head of the Strategic Council of Foreign Relations of Iran, said in a conversation with Al-Mayadin: Iran now has the ability to build nuclear weapons, and if it faces an existential threat, it will change its military doctrine regarding the production of nuclear weapons.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to the domestic media of Iran, the head of the Strategic Council of Foreign Relations of this country criticized the Europeans and pointed to Tehran's action in considering their sensitivities regarding the country's missile launch in the past years. said: At a time when they (Europeans) do not consider Iran's sensitivity, it is no longer necessary for Iran to understand their sensitivity, so there is a possibility that Iran will develop and increase its missile range.
In response to Al-Mayadin reporter's first question about Israel's encroachment on Iran's [territory] and comparing it with the Sadeq-2 operation, Kharazi said: What the Israelis did against our missile attacks was very little. Of course, air defense was one of the factors that stopped them, and this caused a lot of opposition in Israel. Because they had much higher expectations. So it is quite obvious that what they did was disproportionate.
Iran will definitely respond
Referring to the words of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution regarding the fact that Israel has made a calculation error and the Iranian authorities are investigating how to respond, Al-Mayadeen reporter asked, "Is Iran preparing for the promise of Sadegh-3? Kharazi said: "Certainly, Iran will respond at the right time in the right way."
He continued: [Regarding] what has been said about the wrong calculations of the Israelis, [I must say] that their calculations were incorrect from the beginning. They thought they could destroy Hamas by attacking Gaza. They thought that they would destroy Hezbollah by attacking Lebanon, and they thought that these popular movements would subside with the martyrdom of the leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah. These were the wrong calculations they made, and many in Israel admit to these wrong calculations. Thinking and libertarianism cannot be destroyed by military action. This is a human experience, so Hamas and Hezbollah will continue with strength, as you can see now, despite the fact that the leader of Hezbollah was martyred, you can see that Hezbollah is still standing. The journalist of Al-Mayadeen further demanded an explanation of Kharazi's position regarding Iran's military doctrine regarding the construction of nuclear weapons and asked, "You were the first person to talk about changing the nuclear doctrine in case of danger to Iran." In the continuation of the interview, Al-Mayadeen reporter asked about the deterrence phase and entering the possible war phase, and Kharazi answered, "We are ready for war." Iran is not involved in the ceasefire negotiations
The head of the Strategic Council of Foreign Relations of Iran also said about the ceasefire negotiations in Gaza: "Iran has no involvement in the ceasefire and its negotiations. This matter is related to the Lebanese and Palestinians, and whatever decision they make, we will support it."
The other party does not comply with the nuclear agreement; A strategic agreement with Russia is ready
Al-Mayadin then asked about the nuclear negotiations and also the time of signing the strategic agreement with Russia, and Kharazi said regarding the nuclear negotiations: We adhere to our previous agreements, provided that the other parties adhere to them. Unfortunately, they are not compliant and instead of negotiating, they continue their sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Regarding the strategic agreement with Russia, Kharazi also replied: "This agreement is ready and covers all aspects of Iran-Russia relations. It was supposed to be signed at the recent BRICS summit, but the Russians preferred to do it in a bilateral trip that would show its importance. 
In the final part of the interview, Al-Mayadeen asked about Iran's regional relations and open policy in dealing with its neighbors, and Kharazi answered: "The strategic policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is that regardless of the type of government and the differences between the countries of the region, the relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran with these countries should be optimized. so that they can collectively work towards peace and security in the region, so all these countries around us know this policy and we are moving in this direction.
