AFP report of the "extreme fatigue" of the Israeli reserve forces

31 Oct 2024 - 11:31

A year after the start of the Gaza war, the AFP has published a report on the "extreme fatigue" of the Israeli army's reserve forces. Meanwhile, a new front has been opened in Lebanon.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to the announcement of the Zionist regime army, since the attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023, about 300,000 reservists were called into service, 18% of whom are men over 40 years old, who should have been exempted.
Military service is mandatory for Zionist men and women from the age of 18, although there are exemptions.
Since the beginning of the ground attack on Gaza on October 27 last year, the Israeli army says that 367 of its soldiers have been killed.
The death toll of Israeli soldiers since the beginning of the country's ground operations in Lebanon until September 30 has been announced as 37. Hezbollah said yesterday that more than 90 Israeli soldiers were killed during this period.
Now the service period of the reserve forces has been extended and some are complaining and demanding to return from the war.
"We are drowning," reservist Ariel Seri Levy wrote in a post that has been shared hundreds of thousands of times on social media.
In this post, he wrote that he has been called to the front "four times" since October 7th. Ariel Seri Levy has strongly criticized all those who want to continue the operation in Lebanon.
He wrote that despite his belief in serving this regime, "we have to end this war, we have no power left."
