The Ministry of Public Works says that from the beginning to the end of this month, 347,563 metric tons of goods have been transferred through the country's railways.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Public Works of the Islamic Emirate published a newsletter on page X and announced that during the last month, 347 thousand 563 metric tons of property were transferred through the Ministry's railway lines.
The Ministry of Public Works adds that in this month, 245 thousand 480 tons will be transported through Haritaan port, 49 thousand 121 tons from Aqineh port, 52 thousand 181 tons from Turghandi port, and 780 tons from Khaf-Herat. A total of 347 thousand 563 metric tons including oil, non-oil and other materials have been imported and exported.
In this newsletter, it is stated that in total transfers, a part of which is export and transit, 7 thousand and 123 tons of commercial goods were transited and exported during the last month, and a large amount of them were dry fruits and minerals.
The ministry emphasized that the more the amount of export and import through the railway increases, the more job opportunities will be provided, the national income will also increase and it will be useful for the economic stability and development of the country.
Also, the Ministry of Public Works has stated that the transfers are done through the railway line quickly, safely and cheaply, and also asked those businessmen who want to transfer their property through the railway line to contact this ministry.
It should be mentioned that after the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, a large number of railway lines were built and used for the transfer of commercial goods.
