The general directorate of the National Committee for Olympic, Physical Education and Sports of the country has announced that the 28th round of the national boxing team selection competitions by the national federation of this discipline in cooperation with this directorate will be among 287 athletes from sixteen provinces of the country in different weights for a period of one week. 

Afghanistan Voice Agency (AVA): these competitions have started for a week in the boxing department of the country's sports department in Kabul.
Ethel Mashwani, the spokesperson of the National Olympic Committee, said that in these competitions, athletes will compete in the adult age group, and two athletes will be selected for the country's national boxing team, whose total number reaches 26.
He stated that the purpose of holding these competitions is to select and identify the top figures for the country's national boxing team.
