Maulavi Abdul Kabir and Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, political and economic deputies of the Prime Minister's Office, at the opening ceremony of the agricultural and livestock products exhibition in Kabul, called on domestic and foreign investors to invest in the agriculture and development sector in the country. They also requested the Afghans who are abroad to return to the country and participate in building Afghanistan.


Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Maulavi Abdul Kabir and Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Political and Economic Deputy Ministers of the Ministry, today (Wednesday, Oct 16) at the opening ceremony of the Agricultural and Livestock Products Exhibition in Kabul, emphasizing the increase of domestic production, said: National and international exhibitions will introduce Afghanistan's agricultural and commercial products in the world.
Maulavi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of the Prime Minister, stated that the export of dry and fresh fruits of Afghanistan should be increased all over the world and said: Agricultural products or some other commercial goods of Afghanistan that are exported in the name of other countries should be prevented.
Pointing to the common economic opportunities in the country, he added: Now there is a field for investment in Afghanistan and it should be used to the maximum.
The political deputy minister called on domestic and foreign investors to invest in Afghanistan's agriculture sector.
According to him, the Islamic Emirate is trying to strengthen the modern irrigation system and structure it.
This senior official of the caretaker government while pointing out that many agricultural lands throughout Afghanistan were usurped by the powerful, said: The Islamic Emirate is trying to reclaim the usurped lands.
 
Emphasizing that Afghanistan should become an export country, he added: The purpose of water management projects is to grow the country's agriculture.
Mr. Abdul Kabir asked all Afghans living abroad to return to their country and contribute to the development of the country and work hard.
He also asked commercial, agricultural, industrial and other economic institutions to work hard to create job opportunities in the country.
The political deputy of the Prime Minister's Office also asked the country's neighbors to refrain from creating problems in the transit and trade of Afghan goods.
According to him, Afghanistan State needs humanitarian aid due to natural disasters. The international community should help Afghanistan in fighting it.
At the same time, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the economic deputy of the Prime Minister's Office, stated that this exhibition can provide the access of the country's products to foreign markets, and said: Following the fight against poppy cultivation and its eradication, an alternative cultivation has been considered for the country's farmers.
According to him, water management in a structured way will increase agricultural products.
Emphasizing that more attention should be paid to the packaging of the country's agricultural products, the economic deputy of the Prime Minister's Office added: Agricultural products and commercial goods should be standardized.
 
Referring to the agricultural opportunities in the country, he called the holding of exhibitions useful and effective in expanding trade relations, economic growth and development, and access to global markets, and added: The Islamic Emirate is committed to providing social services to the citizens of the country in all fields.
