Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: Mubarez Barakzai, a representative of the Salang Highway Reconstruction Contractor Company, informed Bakhtar News Agency that the construction of the Cement Treated Base (CTB), filter layer, and sub-base sections have been successfully completed, with the Concrete Road Construction (CRCV) phase expected to be finalized shortly.
Additionally, Mohammad Ashraf Haqshinas, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works, stated that the ministry has initiated reconstruction efforts in three critical sections of the highway. He emphasized the ministry’s commitment to enhancing the national transportation infrastructure, ensuring improved transit and logistical efficiency for the public./Bakhtar News
