Mohammad Mustafa: The Gaza Strip is part of the territory of the Palestinian Authority
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa announced that delegations from Hamas and Fatah will soon meet and consult with each other in Cairo.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Mustafa added that the talks will be held with the aim of reaching an agreement to improve conditions and provide services to the people of Gaza.
He added that these negotiations can be held with other Palestinian groups in the future.
Mohammad Mustafa continued his interview with Al Jazeera and claimed that after the end of the war, the Gaza Strip will be governed by the Palestinian Authority.
He said that the Gaza Strip is part of the Palestinian territory and the self-governing organization, and its personnel and employees will continue to work, especially in the education and health sectors.
He claimed that the only legitimate authority in Palestine is the government of the self-governing organization and the Palestine Liberation Organization.
He also claimed: The sovereignty of the Palestinian Authority is applied to the Gaza Strip in such a way that it includes all Palestinian institutions, without anyone leaving it.
He asked international actors, especially America, to support the rights of Palestinians and asked Washington to turn its rhetoric about the two-state solution into practical steps by curbing Israel.
