In the name of Allah
By the grace of Almighty Allah, the World Assembly of the Approximation of Islamic Religions held the 38th International Conference on Islamic Unity from 19 to 21 Sep 2024, in Tehran with the title "Islamic cooperation to achieve common values with an emphasis on the issue of Palestine" and was held with the presence and speech of the honorable President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian and a group of the most prominent scholars of the Islamic world.
This conference is being held in a situation where the Islamic world is full of grief because of the barbaric crimes of the usurping Zionist regime. The widespread assassinations of the leaders and commanders of the resistance and the brutal massacre of the oppressed Palestinian people on the one hand and the decisive support of the Western countries for the crime of this regime make the cooperation of countries and the Islamic Ummah necessary to realize common values and goals, more than ever.
The usurping Zionist regime, with the support of global arrogance led by the United States and Western countries, pursues two basic programs:
First: Occupying all Palestinian lands by killing innocent people, including children, women, and the elderly, as well as besieging and preventing the sending of humanitarian aid, cutting off water and electricity, and basic needs; and displacing about 2 million civilians.
Second: legitimizing your fake identity by normalizing relations with Islamic countries.
It is hoped that the Islamic countries will be able to prevent the realization of the sinister goals of the enemies of Islam through cooperation and cooperation.
While commemorating the birthday of the beloved Prophet of Islam, in the 38th International Conference of Islamic Unity, 250 prominent personalities of the Islamic world gave speeches in person and 234 in webinars, more than 300 scientific articles related to the Palestine issue and Islamic cooperation to achieve common values. was discussed. In the closing meeting, the following points were emphasized in a statement:
1- The Holy Quran is the only protected revelation guide for humanity. Peace and friendship with Muslims and allies; And resistance against the tyranny and oppression of the arrogant is one of its life-giving teachings. Three common values in human society, human dignity, justice and security are among the common Islamic goals for the cooperation of Islamic societies in the region. Human dignity is a divine gift that has been granted to mankind by God equally and regardless of the thoughts and beliefs of every human being. Any violation of these rights is a clear example of oppression. "Justice" is a rational and divine order for mankind to establish a stable government in which the rights of all human beings are fairly respected regardless of ethnic, religious and religious affiliations, and to obtain a basis for fair social interactions.
2- Scholars participating in the conference consider the issue of Quds Sharif to be one of the most important shared values of the Islamic world and one of the unifying issues of the Islamic world. Supporting and defending the oppressed people of Palestine based on certain religious principles and rules is one of the Islamic and moral obligations, and silence in the face of the Zionist regime's anti-human crimes is considered to be in conflict with all Islamic and human values.
3- Scholars of the Islamic world consider the Al-Aqsa storm operation and the resistance of the Palestinian Mujahideen as a decisive, obvious and legitimate response to the occupation and the racist and aggressive policies of the Zionist regime, because this history-making operation is a symbol of breaking the hidden hatred of the Palestinian people and a response to seventy years of crimes by the Zionist regime. And the world is silent about it. Therefore, the spontaneous movement of the resistance front in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and other Islamic countries in support of the oppressed people of Palestine is in line with the support of the Qur'an and Prophetic Sunnah in support of the oppressed and needs the all-round support of the Islamic world.
4- Muslim thinkers consider it their legal right to confront and defend their privacy against the aggressions and adventures of the usurping Zionist regime; He considers Operation Sadiq's Promise carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran to be a decisive and legitimate response to the Zionist regime's aggression against the Iranian consulate in Syria.
5- Scholars participating in the conference emphasize that the only way to stop the crimes of the usurping Zionist regime is the unity of the Islamic world and practical and integrated measures against this criminal regime. Allying with the usurping Zionist regime will never be beneficial for the Islamic world, because this regime does not adhere to any covenants and always pursues destruction, terror and strife in the Islamic world, and now this regime is at its weakest.
6- The scholars participating in the conference want the complete termination of the political-economic relations of the Islamic states with the Zionist regime, such as the fuel embargo, and they ask the scholars of the Islamic world to encourage the Muslims and free people of the world to embargo the Zionist regime's goods and send them material, food and Military should consider the oppressed people of Gaza as their human and religious duty.
7- It is hoped that the Islamic world will make a just peace and try to eradicate the discourse of militancy from the region. The thinkers of the Islamic world welcomed the cessation of the fruitless wars in Yemen and Syria and expressed their satisfaction with the reopening of the Arab countries' embassies in Syria, considering dialogue as the only way to achieve lasting peace in the region. We hope that the cooperation of Islamic countries will expand further and lead to synergy in the field of knowledge and technology, regional security, political power and beneficial economic and cultural exchanges; and media convergence replaces the divergence of religious propaganda; and get a favorable ground for the establishment of the Union of Islamic States.
8- The scholars of the Islamic world invite Islamic institutions and educational centers throughout the Islamic world to remove the teachings of extremism and excommunication from within themselves and now that the Islamic countries have become closer to each other, to train young people who will be the sharp point of their arrows and pens. take them against the arrogant scholars and the followers of the time, and avoid creating division and conflict in the Islamic world, which is a trap from the enemies of the Islamic world, and promote love and mercy among Muslims.
9- Scholars participating in the conference consider Martyr Ismail Haniyeh, whose body is prayed by millions of people in Iran under the Imamate of Imam Khamenei as a martyr of the unity of the Islamic Ummah and emphasize the need to strengthen this unity.
At the end, the participants in the 38th International Conference of Islamic Unity expressed their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Imam Khamenei, Dame Zaleh Al-Ali, for the warm welcome to the conference guests and his pure and profound words and guidelines, and for the efforts of the late Iranian president, Hazrat Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi and late Foreign Minister Dr. Hossein Amirabdollahian expressed their appreciation for realizing the unity of the word among Muslims and strengthening the resistance front.
