Acting Minister of Higher Education at the graduation ceremony of Bamyan University students:
The conflict between clerics and students should be eliminated/students should be committed to the three principles of "Islamic beliefs, service to society, and the freedom and independence of the country"
Neda Mohammad Nadim, Acting Minister of Higher Education of the country, at the 16th graduation ceremony of Bamyan University students, asked them to be committed to the three principles of "Islamic beliefs, service to the society, and freedom and independence of the country". On the other hand, Bamiyan governor Abdullah Sarhadhi emphasized the unity in the country and called for the elimination of the conflict between clerics and students in the society.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Bamyan: Yesterday (Sunday, Sep 8) the 16th graduation ceremony of Bamyan University students was held in the hall of this university with the presence of 635 students who graduated from 7 faculties in 34 fields of study.
In this event, Minister of Higher Education, Nada Mohammad Nadim, encouraged the youth to get an education and asked all the graduates to continue their education up to the master's and doctorate degrees if they are able.
Mr. Nadim called the students responsible for training the new generation of the country and said that the Islamic society should be trained to be able to resist foreigners professionally.
He also emphasized for the students to be committed to three basic principles: 1 commitment to Islamic religious beliefs and practices, 2 commitment and service to the society and people of Afghanistan, 3 commitment to the sanctity, freedom and independence of the country.
Maulvi Abdullah Sarhadhi, the governor of Bamyan province, spoke about the unity and integrity of the society and said: during the presence of the Westerners, disunity had been created in the society and the people and the mujahid nation of Afghanistan had been killed by using division and discrimination, today Ethnic, racial, linguistic and religious prejudices have disappeared and all are respected as Muslims and Afghans.
Addressing the scholars and students, he said: the conflict between clerics and students should be removed, the distance created between the community of elders and students should be removed, and all of them should act unitedly and with firm faith in preserving the values, because the zealous people of Afghanistan will protect the West with faith.
Sarhadi emphasized to the students that they should strive in the field of acquiring knowledge and using technology and making necessary and modern devices. According to him, this approach can be used to defend the country's values against the West.
He asked the people to cooperate with the government, because the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan needs the cooperation and guidance of the people.
On behalf of the students who celebrated their graduation ceremony, they asked the Acting Minister of Higher Education to cooperate and work hard to create jobs for them.
It should be mentioned that the 16th graduation ceremony of Bamyan University students was held before noon today with the presence of senior officials of the Islamic Emirate.
