He also announced the coordination with regional and international organizations regarding the arrangement of 105 standards and the finalization of 91 standards in different sectors and added: the standard has been set for 4 thousand 932 vehicle intermediaries in the past year.

This official of the National Standards Department, referring to the activities of this department since the establishment of the Supreme Council of Standards until now; He announced the approval of 24 standards in the sectors of quality management system, agricultural, food, construction and petroleum products, textile and leather, chemistry and plastic derivatives.

He informed the country about the import of 3 million 787 thousand 415 tons of petroleum products, liquid gas and its derivatives in the past one year and added that 128 thousand 811 tons of them have been established against the standard.

At the same time, Maulvi Mohammad Asif Qant, the technical deputy of this department, informed about the import of 7 million 380 thousand 572 tons of construction materials from the country's ports during the past year and said that among them the amount of 152 tons was established against the standard.

Mufti Mohammad Hamed, head of the program and policy of the National Standards Department, said that the arrangement of 110 standards in different sectors, strengthening the level of coordination with international organizations in order to arrange standards, the conclusion of a memorandum of cooperation with the countries of Turkmenistan, Iran and Uzbekistan are among the important priorities of this.

Officials of the National Standard Administration announced the assistance and cooperation of foreign engineers with domestic engineers in the ports of Afghanistan and said that new technical devices are used to stabilize the quality of the materials imported into the ports.

They announced the blocking of some companies that frequently import low-quality materials into the country and said: The wrong company will be introduced to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and will be blacklisted by that ministry.
