The Foreign Relations Committee of the US House of Representatives once again summoned Anthony Blinken, the foreign minister of this country, to answer about "how to withdraw US troops from Afghanistan".
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to the Reuters news agency, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said in response to this act of Congress: "Blinken has testified before Congress about Afghanistan 14 times, including four times in the committee.

"It is disappointing that instead of continuing to engage with the department in good faith, another unnecessary subpoena has been issued," Miller said.

Michael McCall, the chairman of the foreign relations committee of the US House of Representatives, said about this subpoena that Blinken must appear before the committee on September 19, otherwise he will be charged with disobeying the judicial order.

McCall said that current and former State Department officials confirmed that Blinken was the final decision-maker on the withdrawal and evacuation of US forces from Afghanistan.

McCall had previously criticized Joe Biden and his administration and said: "The disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan will remain a stain in American history."

McCaul, 3 Gemini, said during Anthony Blinken's hearing: "The disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan stained American foreign policy for generations."

Referring to the war in Ukraine and increasing tensions in the Middle East, the head of the foreign relations committee of the US House of Representatives called the US withdrawal from Afghanistan the beginning of showing weakness in his country's foreign policy and said: "Everything started with the fall of Afghanistan."

He said: "After the shameful withdrawal from Afghanistan, the administration (Biden) showed itself weak on the world stage."

America completely withdrew from Afghanistan in August 2021. This withdrawal was carried out with the haste of the American forces.

During this withdrawal, 13 American soldiers and some citizens of the country were killed.
