Establishment of a committee to determine the price and purchase of farmers' surplus wheat in Baghlan

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – Kabul: Mullah Agha Jan Akhund Haji Salim, the deputy minister of finance and administration of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, has established a triple committee to determine the price, purchase and storage of surplus wheat for farmers in Baghlan province.

 

The committee members are representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, the municipality, the silo and the provincial government, who have been appointed after the procurement process to price and purchase wheat.

 

After the pricing committee, the purchasing committee will begin its work and work in coordination with the delivery committee.

 

The Ministry of Agriculture will purchase 6,250 tons of wheat to prevent monopoly, help farmers and supply it in emergency situations.
