Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Mohammad Abd Rabbah, who works in Al-Manara Media Company, was martyred along with his sister during the bombardment of his house located in the Jabalia camp in the Gaza Strip by the Zionist regime.

 

According to IRNA, citing al-Masirah, Palestinian journalist Ibrahim Mohareb was recently shot dead by soldiers of the Zionist regime near Hamad town in the northwest of the city of Khan Yunis, located in the south of the Gaza Strip.

 

According to this network, including this martyred journalist, the number of journalist martyrs in the Gaza Strip reached more than 170 people.

 

Since the start of the war against the Gaza Strip, the Zionist regime has been deliberately targeting Palestinian journalists in order to prevent them from covering the crimes of this regime.

 

Meanwhile, humanitarian organizations have severely criticized the Zionist regime for attacking journalists.

 

Preventing international news reporters from entering the Gaza Strip has made it difficult for local journalists.

 

Recently, more than 60 media, including some of the largest international news agencies, in an open letter asked the Zionist regime to immediately end the ban on international media entering the Gaza Strip and preparing reports from this war-torn region.

 

This letter states: After 10 months of the war, international journalists are still denied access to Gaza except for rare trips accompanied by the Israeli army. The ban on foreign media activities has put a heavy and difficult burden on local journalists to prepare a war report from their place of residence.

 

Financial Times, Guardian, New York Times and Washington Post newspapers and American TV channels ABC, CBS and NBC as well as media from Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East were among the signatories of this letter.
