Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Baghdad Al-Youm, the spokesman of the Iraqi National Security Organization stated that the Arbaeen security plan has been carried out with complete success.

 

According to the announcement of this Iraqi organization, the security forces have carried out 182 missions and collected dozens of preliminary intelligence reports during the Hosseini Arbaeen ceremony.

 

According to the statement of this security organization, 146 accused people belonging to extremist currents, rioters, related to the dissolved Baath Party and drug traffickers have been arrested during the missions of this plan.

 

The spokesperson of this organization also stated that the national security forces have implemented a large awareness campaign during this period in order to increase the awareness of pilgrims about the dangers that threaten social security.

 

It should be mentioned that nearly 22 million people participated in Arbaeen this year, according to Iraqi officials.
