Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Russia will continue to deliver humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, Dmitry Zhirnov told reporters in Kabul. This is the first time that humanitarian aid shipments of about 25 tons of wheat flour have been sent to Kandahar province.

According to him, the shipments of wheat flour were transported by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"Our country has never left Afghanistan alone in a difficult situation," the Russian ambassador stressed.

He said a new batch of Russian humanitarian aid was delivered to Kandahar province on August 20 by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. The donation was made by the Volgograd House of Friendship, Russia, within the framework of the international projects "People throughout the year and Russia with you" and with the support of the Russian Cooperation Agency.

 

This was the sixth shipment of Russian humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
