Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Officials of Roshandlan Social Foundation and a group of blind and disabled people met with Hojjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Seyyed Isa Hosseini Mazari at the office of the Tebyan Community Cultural Activities Center in Kabul.

The head of the Tebyan Center said that one of the problems of Afghanistan during the past 45 years is the physical problems of a part of the people of the society and said: disabled people who are either born with physical, mental and psychological problems or due to wars and internal conflicts or war with The Soviet Union and the United States have apparently suffered.

Criticizing that during the past decades and various governments, basic work has not been done for veterans and the disabled, he added: This is despite the fact that there are measures in this field in other countries, for example, in the Islamic Republic of Iran, there are even plans for employment. The disabled and veterans are implemented in different departments and special assistance is considered for them and they are taken care of by the relevant bodies and institutions.

Hosseini Mazari pointed out that before the 80s and during the 14-year jihad against the Soviet Union and during the civil wars, personalities, currents and governments either did not have the opportunity or did not have the success to serve the veterans and the disabled community, he noted: Meanwhile, during the 20 years of the American rule of the republic, many opportunities and possibilities flowed from the world to Afghanistan.

He stated that the officials of the republican government could use these opportunities and facilities to implement good programs in the field of dealing with veterans and disabled people, adding: but unfortunately, during the republican period, not only nothing was done for our disabled people, but the underground assets and facilities and The land of our people was also taken away and the Afghan society was exposed to a very wide attack intellectually and culturally.

Hosseini Mazari pointed out that in order to compensate the cultural, social and political damage that has been imposed on our people, tens of years of serious and hard work is necessary, as well as the presence of all the real and legal personalities of the country, and named the country's veterans as one of these movements.

The head of the Tebyan center emphasized the priority attention of the government and the society to the veterans and the disabled and to provide them with the minimum living standards and added: From this platform, I suggest to the officials of the Islamic Emirate that they should think about the veterans and the disabled in this country and think about reducing their suffering. and the pains and problems of these people and help these people by directing the aid of foreign institutions.

Hosseini Mazari asked capitalists and rich people to support the Roshandelan Social Foundation and other institutions related to veterans and disabled people and reminded: The Tebian Center office also tries to follow up on the demands and demands of the veterans and disabled community.

Emphasizing the need to reflect the voices of veterans and the disabled through the media, especially the AVA news agency, he stated that one of the reasons for holding this meeting is to produce content and reflect the problems of this segment of the society, and directed the head of the AVA news agency office in Kabul.

At the beginning of this meeting, Ahmad Ali Hussaini, the head of Roshandelan Social Foundation, said that dozens of blind and physically disabled people are members of their foundation.

According to him, the blind and disabled people are facing serious economic problems and the government and private institutions have not done anything for them yet.

Stating that Roshandlan social organization has also had activities in the cultural and value field, he asked all Taqlid offices and aid institutions to provide economic aid to these blind people.

Ahmad Ali Hussaini also asked the head of Tebyan Social Cultural Activities Center and AVA News Agency to bring the problems of this section of the society to the attention of government officials.
