The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced on Tuesday that the country's forces have captured the village of "Novgorodskoye" located in Donetsk.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Ministry of Defense of Russia said in its latest statement: "As a result of the active actions of the center unit, a large group of Ukrainian forces has been defeated and one of the main towns of Tortsk and an important strategic logistics center called Novgorodskoye."

Novosti news agency quoted the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Russia as saying: "Ukraine's armed forces lost more than 585 soldiers and three tanks in the operational area of ​​the Central Division."

On August 6, the Ukrainian army made unexpected attacks on the Russian "Kursk" and apparently is unable to maintain its position, but on the other hand, the Russian armed forces have made significant advances in Donetsk and have controlled more areas in the last few days. 

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of Russia announced in a report that the casualties of the Ukrainian armed forces in the direction of Kursk reach 350 people per day. Attacks by Ukrainian offensive groups in populated areas in the territory controlled by Russian forces were thwarted.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia noted that the reconnaissance and search operation continues to identify and destroy the sabotage group that tried to penetrate deep into the Russian soil.
