The administration of the anti-narcotics police in Bamyan Province has announced that in the last three years, 349 anti-narcotics operations have been conducted in this province, including prevention of smuggling, treatment of drug addicts, and destruction of drug cultivation.

Afghan Voice News Agency (AVA) - Bamyan: The management of the anti-narcotics police of Bamyan province sent a newsletter to Ava news agency and said that during the years (1401, 1402, 1403 AH) of the Islamic Emirate government in Bamyan, there were 349 anti-narcotics operations in the areas He has done different things including smuggling, destroying drug cultivation and treating addicts.

It is stated in the newsletter that there are 67 cases of drug trafficking, destruction of poppy, marijuana cultivation, discovery and confiscation of the drug processing factory, the relative file of which has been transferred to the head of the provincial court of Bamyan.

The anti-narcotics police management added that 85 suspects have been arrested in the case of drug trafficking, processing and cultivation.

According to the news, 236 acres of agricultural land has been destroyed due to drug cultivation in the last three years.

The anti-narcotics police management has also stated that 244 drug addicts have been collected from different areas of Bamyan province and delivered to the drug addiction treatment hospital.

Seizing and confiscation of 8 drug processing factories and 17 tons of chemical narcotics are among the other achievements of the anti-narcotics police management in the last three years.

It is worth mentioning that after the order of the leader of the Islamic Emirate to prohibit the cultivation and trafficking of narcotics in Afghanistan, the government's security and intelligence agencies started a serious fight against narcotics, and according to the United Nations, they have been successful in this field.
